Cancer Type: Lymphoma
Cancer Sub Type: Large B-cell lymphoma
Cancer Location: Lymphoma (in brain in March 2010, left thigh in November 2011, left superior pons of brain in January 2012, adrenal nodules in February 2012)
Cancer Measures: 3.2 x 2.5cm mass in left thigh (November 2011), 6mm lesion in pons (January 2012)
Symptoms Cancer: Low appetite (may have also been caused by chemotherapy), generally unwell, facial palsy, other unspecified complications
Symptoms Conventional Medicine: Significant nausea, vomiting, febrile neutropenia, pneumonia requiring hospitalization from initial chemotherapy, acute renal failure from cisplatin, hepatitis from cytabarine (cisplatin and cytabarine effects resulted in hospitalization as well)
Intervention Conventional: Chemotherapy (1: DHAP for 3 cycles around February 2010, 2: cisplatin and cytabarine from February 2012 - April 2012); Radiation (1: April 2010, 2: five shots for pons lesion in January 2012); Surgery (removal of left thigh mass in November 2011)
Intervention Pharmaceuticals: Medications to treat complications of cancer, including methotrexate
Intervention Integrative: Cannabis
Intervention Details: THC FECO (started May 2012)
Intervention Application: Ingested
Intervention Dosage: Started with rice-grain size doses, and moved up to 1g/day
Intervention Results: In 2009, the initial lymphoma was eliminated with chemotherapy. In March 2010 the lymphoma spread to the brain, and the cancer there was eliminated with radiation. In November 2011, a mass appeared on the leg which was removed with surgery. More spread to the brain was identified in January 2012, and treated with radiation. In February 2012, spread to adrenals led to more chemotherapy, which resulted in hospitalization due to acute renal failure and hepatitis, so chemotherapy was completely stopped in April 2012. The next mont she started THC FECO, and at the low rice grain doses felt no effects after a week. She then increased to 1g/day, and noticed positive results after 2 weeks. Overall, she felt better and had a better appetite. In July 2012, a scan and medical report stated that her left thigh mass "actually regressed spontaneously". Medical documentation stated, "Further chemotherapy was abandoned. But since that time, she made miraculous recovery with stable clinical condition with no further cranial nerve palsy." She was still doing well as of January 2024
